How I Learned to Stop Judging and to Start Loving RED

Prior to 1981

In error

I judged

RED hair unattractive. 

Then

My niece was born

As cute as can be

RED hair and all

Especially the hair. 

Then

In 1983

Surprise!

My own blessing

A son

My baby boy

With RED curly hair

And lovely blue eyes. 

My lesson learned

To never judge

Not ever

Nothing, no one

Especially if RED.
